Firearm Transfer Information
Thank you for choosing Utah FAST for your firearm transfer!
Completing this form helps us process your transfer quickly and accurately. The buyer's full legal name must match the name on the purchase order or invoice. This form does not replace or automatically populate the ATF Form 4473.
If this is your first firearm transfer with Utah FAST, choose New Customer.
IMPORTANT!
Your ID must show your full legal name, date of birth, photo, current residential address, and cannot be expired. If your ID does not show your current address, you must provide additional acceptable government-issued documentation. See the FAQ "What Is Acceptable Identification?" at the bottom of our Firearm Transfer page.
Transfer Information
Following the ATF's updated guidance on October 9th, 2026, customers can now transfer Silencers, Short-Barreled Rifles (SBR), Short-Barreled Shotguns (SBS), and Any Other Weapon (AOW) using ATF Form 4473. Customers can still submit an ATF Form 4. If you select Form 4, the firearm will NOT be transferred to you until the ATF approves it.

IMPORTANT
Federal law still requires submitting and approval of the ATF Form 4 and a $200 tax stamp for all destructive devices and machine guns.
Dealer Information
Utah FAST automatically emails our FFL and, when applicable, SOT to the email address you provide. Incorrect information may delay your transfer.
